Motherhood is proven by sacrificial love
The woman willing to surrender the child so that he could live reveals a love that places the child’s well-being above possession. The sermon teaches that real motherhood is demonstrated through costly care and protection.
A messy story does not cancel calling
The women in the story carried lowered social status and difficult histories, yet Scripture uses them to display one of its clearest pictures of sacrificial love. God can work through imperfect circumstances and redeem a mother’s story.
Honor those who mother
The church is called to honor biological mothers, adoptive mothers, mentors, foster mothers, and every woman who has served with enduring care. Their sacrifices may go unnoticed by people, but they are seen by God.
