Church Membership
Becoming a member of The Citadel Church means more than attending services — it means becoming part of a spiritual family. Membership is about growing in Christ, serving others, and walking together in faith.

What Membership Means
When you become a member, you are entering into covenant with a body of believers committed to:
Building Lives. Building Community. Building the Kingdom.
Our goal is to help every believer grow spiritually, socially, and personally while impacting our communities through the Gospel. Membership is the doorway into that shared work, not just a name on a roll.
Membership connects worship, discipleship, community, and service into one shared life.
We want people to move from attending to belonging, from belonging to growing, and from growing to serving with clarity and conviction.
The Membership Journey
We guide every new member through a structured discipleship process designed to help you understand both your faith and the life of this church.
Attend Worship
Begin by joining us in worship and experiencing the life of our church. Come as you are and let God meet you where you are.
Complete New Disciple Orientation
All new members participate in our Citadel 101 Orientation — multiple sessions covering the biblical foundation of salvation, stewardship, spiritual growth, and the structure of the church.
Find Your Place To Serve
After orientation, we help you identify your gifts, your calling, and your ministry opportunities. Every believer has a place to serve and grow.
What We Practice
As members, we actively participate in a life of worship and discipleship that includes singing and praise, commitment to spiritual growth, prayer, hearing the Word, giving, baptism, communion, and personal reflection.
These practices help us grow stronger in our relationship with God and more useful in the life of the church.
Who Membership Is For
Membership is open to anyone who believes in Jesus Christ, desires to grow spiritually, wants to be part of a church family, and is willing to walk in fellowship and service.
Not ready yet? That is okay. You are always welcome to attend worship, events, and services as you explore faith at your own pace.
