What to Expect When You're Expecting
Bishop Terry L. Hill, Jr. · December 7, 2025
Luke 1:8–26 challenges us to live faithfully between God’s promise and its fulfillment. Zechariah’s silence and Elizabeth’s seclusion show the value of patience while God’s work develops. We are called to count the cost of answered prayer and prepare for the changes it brings. What God does in our lives should also equip us to encourage others, as Elizabeth’s experience prepared her to support Mary.
Matthew 1:18-25
A Divine Disruption
Bishop Terry L. Hill, Jr. · December 14, 2025
Matthew 1:18–25 invites us to consider how God works through disrupted plans. Joseph’s response to Mary’s pregnancy challenges us to trust God when the circumstances exceed our understanding. We are called to stay open to a word that changes our minds and to remain faithful when God’s work in others unsettles our lives. What feels like disruption can bring us into alignment with God’s purpose.
